Californication
Regular price $44.00 Save $-44.00The Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1999 album Californication was one of the most anticipated in the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees' career and it saw the group reuniting with both producer Rick Rubin and guitarist John Frusciante, neither of which had been in the fold since their 1991 masterpiece Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik. The first product of this reunion and revitalization is a highly creative affair which is one of the most melodic, philosophical and song-oriented albums in their vast catalog. The 15-track set yielded an assortment of hit singles including “Scar Tissue,” “Otherside,” and “Californication” to go along with the fan favorites “Around the World,” “Road Trippin’” and “Parallel Universe.” Californication also marked the beginning of what would become the most stable period of the band's tenure, enduring without another personnel change until 2008. 180g 2LP set at Record Industry in a single-pocket jacket with expanded spine and lyric insert at Furnace.

Recorded at East West In Los Angeles and Shangri-la in Malibu, CA, I'm With You was produced by Rick Rubin, who produced the band's previous five albums, 2006's Stadium Arcadium, 2002's By The Way, 1999's Californication, 1995's One Hot Minute, and 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik. One Hot Minute
Regular price $29.00 Save $-29.00One Hot Minute is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on September 12, 1995, on Warner Bros. Records. The worldwide success of the band's previous album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991), caused guitarist John Frusciante to become uncomfortable with their status, eventually quitting mid-tour in 1992. One Hot Minute was the only album that guitarist Dave Navarro recorded with the band. His presence altered the Red Hot Chili Peppers' sound considerably. It contains fewer sexual themes than previous records and explores darker subject matters, such as drug use, depression, anguish, and grief. It also re-integrated use of heavy metal guitar riffs. Vocalist Anthony Kiedis, who had resumed addictions to cocaine and heroin in 1994 after being sober for more than five years, approached his lyricism with a reflective outlook on drugs and their harsh effects. Remastered by Bernie Grundman. 2012.
Stadium Arcadium
Regular price $90.00 Save $-90.00Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis called the band's sprawling 2006 quadruple LP album Stadium Arcadium, "the best thing that we’ve ever done...There’s this weird kind of sublime, subliminal undercurrent that is suggestive, in a spirited way, of our earliest records.” Produced by the great Rick Rubin and serving as the group's last to date with longtime guitarist John Frusciante, Stadium Arcadium exudes all the passion, energy and funked-up rock that has made the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame act one of the most popular and enduring in music history. Stadium Arcadium is home to five hit singles including "Dani California," "Tell Me Baby," "Snow (Hey Oh)," "Desecration Smile" and "Hump de Bump," and yielded seven Grammy-nominations and five wins including Best Rock Album in 2007.
